That's the haft-cin table that we set up for the New Year. Each thing on that table is symbolic for good luck and prosperity for the new year. :D It's called a 'haft-cin' table because 'haft' means seven in Farsi, and there are seven main symbolic items on the table. All seven of those things start with the letter 'cin'! Pretty simple. :D
Ooh! So the grass is not so cute for long then. *giggles* Watching the grass makes me want to grow something small too, like grass or some other cute vegetation. I have bamboo grass, but it starts to become large and uncute. They can grow up to 12 metres tall in right conditions, but the florist I bought it from told that in Norway they rarely get taller than a half metre.
