Oh damn. Shopping for my apartment makes me guilt trip afterwards so much.

I went to Target yesterday and spent $247. o_O Granted, I'm pretty much finished with shopping (all I need are pots for rice and potentially a microwave) but still. No matter how much I may need something, if I spend more than $50 of my parent's money I always guilt trip right after.

Even though I bought so much stuff, I'm also taking a crapload of my parent's old stuff. Holy crap, does an apartment need a lot of stuff! I realized I needed a scrubber for the bathtub and cleaning supplies, toilet paper, even down to my mom complaining that I should really get a spoon rest. Though I'm amused at myself for concentrating all my kitchen supplies to everything I would need to make rice. I have priorities!

Now how am I going to drag all this stuff in a van for the 18-hour trip to Montréal? Magic may or may not be required.

Things would be alot easier if you learned to use a damn ricecooker.

You know, my dad's been trying to convince me to take a rice cooker with me but I don't trust myself with one just yet. That, and I never liked the taste of rice from a rice cooker. YES I'M PICKY ABOUT MY RICE.

Well I don't trust you with one either, but I'm fully confident in your ability to learn how to use a measuring cup and a button :P

Hehe. Oh the ricecooker.

Hahahahaha! Well, I'll stick to the hardcore pot because that's what I do best and I can't really make tadeke in a ricecooker (I'll explain what that is when we get back).

But I plan on baking a lot!

See, I am also picky about my rice. If it isn't steamed, it is not worth my time. We are opposites! Such larks!

I'm still confused as to why you're buying stuff like cleaning supplies now, and carting them all the way to montreal, instead of jusy going to dollarama once you're there.

The pots and stuff I understand, but Oh well.

My parents have convinced me that getting all that stuff here from Sam's is a lot cheaper and they can buy them in larger quantities. Also, they want me to spend as little money as possible up there, so if they buy everything I need now, I won't have to pay later to buy it. Not to mention all the food they plan on bringing up. A 20lb. bag of rice is guaranteed!

if you have not gotten any furniture; I suggest these stores:

ML for just about anything....they have a lot of second hand things and floor models that they sale. You have to take a look, because we bought our stove, fridge, washer and dryer there for like 1000$ all together...you might get a good deal on a stove and fridge. Though, I know you will get a good deal on beds etc. As for the living room area...nothing beats a futon.

Corbiel is also great for stove and fridge if you dont find it at ML.

I won't need to buy my own fridge or stove (thank the gods!) but thanks for the suggestions! I've already bought 2 tables and a chair at IKEA so of course I need to go find a bed and potentially a sofa type thingy.

Ehehe. That's like me ... except that I'm backwards, and I think Tamera and I have more applicances than anyone could ever need. I'm producing two blenders.

You still need to tell me where you're living, you know. Mystery's all well and good, and whatever, but ...

/rambling.

*pounce*

Wait, what are you going to do with two blenders? I would hardly ever use one!

And you know very well that I am not going to tell you where I'm living just yet. ;)

OMG Drunken Dr Tie God! *licks*

*koff*

I ... really don't know. Fill up otherwise desolate drawers? (I liked it ALLBOLDED better. ^^)

You might. I could surprise it out of you. Boo.

Doctor Who = sex. Drunk Doctor Who = adorable sex!! *giggle*

And boo on you for catching my comment all bold! Silly me and my simple HTML slips. >_> You better have a lot of drawers to fill btw. Seriously, 2 blenders?!

You shall never get it out of me! I am impervious to surprise. *watches Kat's 'boo' bounce off her* XD

Mmm. Pretty wine man.

Did you think that I would just invisible it? I mean, not be able to see ... oh, feh, I don't know. I think I'm tired. (They're very small blenders?)

Hmm. Now I must get creative. *dusts off 'boo' and puts it back in pocket*

*keeps drooling over the doctor*

Hahaha, don't worry Kat. For a while I thought you were talking about making the blenders invisible and I started wondering how on earth you would do that. And there is no such thing as a small blender! I refuse to believe it!

Mwhahaha, you shall never defeat me! *evil cackle*

*joins*

There is! It's like the size of a standard drinking glass! It's called a Magic Bullet (which is clearly how it gets invisible).

I ... might. I mean will.

*sigh* I can't wait until Doctor Who starts up again, but that isn't until Christmas! How am I supposed to last until Christmas?!

...Magic Bullet? Okay, maybe it's just my dirty mind but that seriously sounds like it should be a vibrator and not a blender. So THAT'S how you plan on hiding it!

NEVER.

I know! We'll just have to tide ourselves over with reruns for ... *sobs* five months.

No, it's not just your dirty mind - mine's in there with you, except that this really is a blender. Wouldn't that be fun, though?

Oh. Okay.
