I am currently dripping and in general not very appreciative of this 6-10 inch spontaneous dump. I'm all for snow, but on a school day? Soon I'll have to be pulled up by my coat hood from a snowdrift by a samaritan. D:

If I hadn't been forced home by my own hunger around 1:15, I wouldn't even have left campus after 10:30. I had actually hung out in the Geography lounge in Burnside after my first class today because I knew on Mondays they have free pizza for lunch (I took a Geog class, I count!) but turned out the guy that was supposed to order it forgot. It was a sad day. :'(

The worst is that they only plow the streets and leave the lumps right in front of the sidewalk edges so you have to go through snow piles twice as high as normal to get anywhere in Montreal.

Fucking tell me about it. >________< On top of not really shoveling the sidewalks either, I've had to plow through drifts higher than my knees just to get to bloody class (only to have one of my lectures canceled anyway). If you see University and Sherbrooke, there's an accident there every 5 minutes or so. It's ridiculous.

Are you serious? I haven't been to that side of town since Concordia is by Guy. Only half the sidewalks are plowed in the area.

Did you k now your lecture was canceled before you made the trip there?

NO. I went all the way home for lunch, then headed back out for lecture. Turned out my prof got really sick over the weekend. >_

Pretty much! The flaming gay TA showed up and he told us she got sick over the weekend, then his boyfriend called him on his cell when he thought it was the prof, and then let us out after 10 minutes. Very sad waste of time. :(
